Audience Profile

I intend to aim my magazine at 16-24 year old males and females. Despite the Hip-Hop/R&B genre of music being mainly associated with black male rappers, I feel this is inaccurate as there are many inspirational female artists of this style and it is therefore necessary to include them into my target audience. The mag will share latest trending items( including fashion, brands, music, films and technology as this would be suited to the target age group being subjected to the high-tech nature of this generation.) Also interviews with Hip-Hop artists to enhance knowledge etc. There will be one issue published and released every 3 weeks at the price of £2.99 and sold in most of the popular stores which are used day-to-day for convenience. The magazine will contain 70-90 pages; this is dependant on the events from week to week as some issues will be released at the time of popular festivals or awards evenings etc. where people will want information regarding these events.

I have produced examples of the type of people my magazine will be typically attracted to and enjoyed by. (Although I am to interest a broad population, including those who wouldn't usually read this type of magazine with a Hip-Hop genre.) My use of quirky, exciting and humorous images would hopefully intrigue many and appeal.
